On Friday evening, July 19, a 21-year-old man died in Montceau-lès-Mines as a result of his injuries. He was the victim of a collision accident, on the roundabout of the Plessis district, putting a car in the car.
The information published by Le Journal de Saône-et-Loire was confirmed by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Chalon-sur-Saône. When the firefighters arrived on the scene, around 12:20 a.m., the victim was seriously injured. His vital prognosis was underway. The young man died in Montceau hospital as a result of his injuries.
However, neither the scooter nor the car involved in the accident were present on the roundabout when the emergency services arrived. A 20-year-old young man came to the police station a little later that night. He’s the driver of the car involved in the collision. He was taken into custody. According to the first elements of the investigation, the latter was driving in the opposite direction.
The Chalon Prosecutor’s Office has now confirmed that this accident took place on the fringes of popular jubilation at the end of Algeria’s victory, even if this appears likely. A call for witnesses was issued to determine the precise circumstances of this accident.
