Diana & Albert tied the knot in Santorini in June 2015 and they said their vows in front of people and God at the highest point in Santorini in Profitis Ilias cliff yard
Here are the questions that Diana answered 1. How and where did you meet We knew of each other through mutual friends but we officially met at a bank I worked at that my husband went to.

2.. Your proposal - who popped the question and how? My husband asked to meet him at the bank where I worked in order to open a joint account. Naturally, I was annoyed because I was running errands and didn’t have time to go because it was last minute. He insisted almost causing us to get into a fight. I arrived dressed in sweatpants, no makeup, hair a mess. He arranged a scenario with the bank manager that we couldn’t open an account unless we were married. Since I worked there for 3 years I started arguing yes we can because obviously I knew federal banking rules. I guess you can say I almost blew the whole thing until he got on one knee and proposed. I was pretty shocked. I choked on my pretzel and looked at him confused. I actually thought it was a joke and asked “Are you kidding me?” When I realized everyone was staring I knew it was not a joke and I said yes lol.

3. When did you know he was “the one”? Not until we separated. I was never a traditional girl that wanted a huge wedding. So when I was forced to have one I can’t say it was the best day of my life. He knew I always wanted to go away somewhere far just the 2 of us but I did the big wedding for the family. It wasn’t until after we got back together (after our separation), when he told me he wanted to take me to Greece to renew our vows since that’s what I always wanted, did I realize he was the one.

5. Where was your wedding ceremony? The original wedding ceremony was in Philadelphia, PA USA. The vow renewal ceremony was in Santorini, Greece.
6. It was a symbolic wedding? YES - We had a nonreligious vow renewal. It was just the 2 of us, photographers, and the celebrant. It was on a cliff overlooking the Aegean Sea. The most memorable moment was reading our own vows.

9.How did Marryme in Greece help in your wedding? They arranged the venue and coordinated with the photographer and the celebrant. We had a simple vow renewal but it was the location that was very important to me which turned out exactly how I wanted.
10.How and why did you choose your dress? I had my dress custom made. It was an idea I envisioned when I thought about Greece. I wanted it to be light, flowly, and feminine. I had a short lace top made and a long silk skirt that blew in the wind. It was the perfect Greek Island outfit.
11.What was the style you were going for? Classy, simple, and angelic.
12.Can you describe the accessories you wore? I didn’t wear any accessories. I wanted it to be simple and more focus on the outfit than anything else.
13.What was your favorite part of the wedding? I’d have to say reading our own vows to each other.
14.What made your wedding unique and special? We wrote our own vows and it was done just how we wanted to originally, just the 2 of us. It was intimate and about us.
15.Did anything funny or unusual happen at your wedding? It was 100000 degrees that day, probably the hottest day of the summer. Our clothes were stuck to our bodies. I was running into hotel lobbies between pictures to stand under a fan.
16.What is your advice for other brides? Wear a light dress if the weather is hot
It’s GREECE! Try to remember that it’s YOUR day and YOUR moment. Don’t let family and friends stress you out.17. Where did you go on your honeymoon and would you recommend it? We never had a chance to go on a honeymoon when we first got married. We planned on going to Greece but we couldn’t make it after our wedding. This trip was our long overdue honeymoon which is why it was so special to us. And yes I would most certainly recommend it!
