Last month, I stayed at the Sanctuary Hotel for the second time. This most recent visit felt exactly the same as my first visit 3 years ago.
I do believe that this hotel has the most potential in the Scottsdale area. It is the most contemporary and least run down, although it still needs serious renovations. The restaurant has the best view of the area (tied with Jean-Georges’ J&G; Steakhouse at the Phoenician Hotel), and breakfast, lunch and dinner is inventive and well executed. The fitness center, pools and spa are all top shelf. The views are incredible.
