Samsung unveils Galaxy A42 5G phone, Tab A7 and Trio wireless charging station

Samsung has announced three more mobile products: the Galaxy A42 5G smartphone, the budget-friendly Galaxy Tab A7, and the Trio wireless charger. The company hosted a Life Unstoppable virtual event on Wednesday that was held at the same time as the IFA virtual electronics show in Berlin.

The new 5G phone will be part of Samsung's Galaxy A series and will have a quad camera layout on the back and a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy A42 5G will hit the market later this year, with no price indication. It comes in black.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 has a 10.4-inch screen, four Dolby Atmos speakers and a symmetrical bezel in a metal case. Samsung calls it a "picture and sound entertainment experience on the go" and also refers to its new Samsung Kids app, which is full of educational content for children. The tablet is available in gold, silver and gray.

Finally, the Wireless Charger Trio is a new station that allows you to charge multiple devices at the same time, including Telephones, Tablets, Smartwatch, Galaxy Buds and more. You can get the charging station in black or white.

Samsung also showed the on Wednesday Galaxy Z Fold 2, a smart projector called The Premiere, the Odyssey G55 gaming monitor, the Galaxy Fit2, a new refrigerator, and a washer and dryer with "smart learning and automatic linking".
