This new Samsung -new start testing one UI 5, the upcoming skin version is based on Android 13, the latest iteration of the OS that Google comes out earlier this month.
This beta testing phase usually lasts for at least several weeks, but of course everyone wants to know about the release date for one Build UI 5 that is completed. And according to the new rumors today, it will be October 17 or October 19. That’s when the Galaxy S22 model allegedly began to receive updates.
That’s a little very specific info there, especially for software release, which can always be hampered by a random unexpected bug. It also comes from a proven source of proven track record, so now it will be the best time to take all this with a healthy dose of salt.
Which said, October sounded like a timeline that made sense – beta began in early August, and about 10 weeks of theoretical testing must be enough to approve all possible tangles. We have to wait and see if this one comes out.
