Posted on the 19 October 2013 by Jyoti Arora @Jy0tiAr0ra

The popularity of smartphones is ever increasing and more and more people want to use one. That is the reason why the innovation in smart mobile devices is progressing faster than in most other fields. And the mobile companies are launching new and highly innovative flagship phones at distance of just a few months.

But not everyone can afford these expensive smartphones. The good thing is that companies like Samsung also recognize the needs and requirements of middle class urban consumers who desire the smartphone technology, but at an affordable rate.

And targeting just this market segment, Samsung recently brought into market two new Android smartphones, both below the price tag of Rs. 10,000. These two phones that were launched on 17th October, 2013 are called GALAXY Trend (GT-S7392) and the GALAXY Star Pro (GT-S7262).

The noteworthy thing about these Android devices is that both of them Support 9 Indian Languages. These are Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. Using this multi-lingual capability of GALAXY Trend and GALAXY Star Pro, users now have the option to use their phone in the language of their choice. This language choice would apply to the phone’s interface, web browser, SMS and various other applications like Facebook, ChatON etc. Several such compatible applications having mult-lingual capacity are available for download at Samsung Apps.

Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Vineet Taneja, Country Head, Samsung Mobiles & IT, said, “At Samsung, we are committed to listening to our consumers and providing innovative, yet affordable technology to them. GALAXY Trend and GALAXY Star Pro will provide our consumers an exceptionally rich mobile experience in regional languages with the ability to access an array of apps in their preferred language.  We believe these new devices coupled with the innovative language capability will help us address a larger set of consumers.”
