Samsung Might End up Offering Long-awaited Justice with Galaxy S22

Posted on the 14 January 2022 by Geetikamalik

The Samsung exynos processor has received a lot of flak in the past because of the relatively lower performance and power efficiency than their Snapdragon colleagues. Bored with the performance of Loyo, Galaxy fans even signed a petition to ask Samsung to launch the Snapdragon version of their devices worldwide. And it looks like their dream will eventually be realized this year.

According to Tipster Ahmed Qwaider, Samsung has canceled the plan to launch the Exynos 2200 variant of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Ultra Galaxy S22. South Korean companies will be reported to sell the Galaxy S22 series around the world with only one processor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is great news for Galaxy fans in areas such as Asia, Europe, and Latin America they use to get the Exynos Galaxy version Note and Galaxy S series smartphone S.

Samsung may still launch the Exynos 2200 chipset around next month, but it is not clear which phone will actually use the chipset. Vivo has launched the Exynos variant of the high-end smartphone in China last year, so maybe it might do the same thing with the coming Exynos chipset.

Both Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 uses one core cortex-x2, three cortex-A710 cores, and four cortex-A510 cores, and they are both made using the Samsung Casting 4nm process. However, it is being reported that Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Adreno GPU is strong enough compared to the AMD RDNA2-based GPU used in Exynos 2200.
