The new effort is Samsung's latest effort to make its phones stand out in competition with Apple's iPhones and the competition with Google's Android software. It is also one of the first high profile partnerships for Microsoft's new Xbox streaming Service, previously called Project xCloud.

Samsung has previously attempted to highlight the graphic features of its devices through games, and has partnered exclusively with game maker Epic to increase its popularity Fortnite online fighting game for Samsung's mobile devices in front of other google phones.

Samsung isn't the only company to push mobile gaming forward. Apple has highlighted the gaming capabilities of its iPhones and started approving developers back in 2008 to publish programs in the App Store. Nowadays, Apple is talking about how its mobile chips are able to deliver console-quality gaming experiences. Since last year, Apple has also been offering its Apple Arcade subscription service, which allows users to access more than 100 ad-free apps for $ 5 a month.

Samsung will offer its Xbox Cloud gaming app when it launches in its dedicated app store. The service is also made available to other people with devices that run on Android software. Microsoft said it plans to offer cloud games on as many devices as possible, but it does will not be available for Apple's iPhone at the start.
