Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a rugged tablet from the South Korean Tech Giant. The tablet is already revealed in Europe and some Asian countries back in September last year. It is the successor to the Galaxy Tab Active 2 that debuted back in 2017. This tablet is best choice for kids as it comes with very tough build and it makes it suitable for rough usage.

Samsung Galaxy tab Active 3 features an 8 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and it comes with Glove mode that enables the users to use the tablet while wearing the gloves also. The Tablet has thick bezels all over the screen and has three buttons to operate the tab i.e back button, home button, and recent apps button.


The apperance of the tablet somehow takes us back to 2018 but as it comes with MIL-STD-810H certifications makes it suitable for rough use. Under the hood, the Tab Active 3 is powered by Exynos 9810 that powered the Galaxy S9 series back in 2018. It is accompanied by 4Gb of RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage that can be extended up to 1 TB via a microSD card.


The device is running on Android 10 and comes equipped with a 5050 mah battery. The Tablet comes with fast charging support via USB and POGO pins and also the company added ” No Battery Mode” in which the users can use the Tablet directly on the charge without the inclusion of a battery.


For connectivity, the Tablet comes with NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, 4G, and more. Additionally, the tablet comes with IP68 certified S-Pen that is stored at the top of the Tab and an extra button called Active Key that can be customized for a particular app along with Samsung Dex support. 4

Samsung Galaxy tab Active 3 has officially gone on sale starting at $489 (around Rs.35,755) for the 64GB Wi-Fi only variant whereas an LTE-connected version will cost $589 (around Rs.43,067). There’s also a 128GB version, whose Wi-Fi variant will be priced at $509 (around Rs.37,208), but it might only be available for Samsung’s enterprise clients.
