Samsung Galaxy S7 And HTC X9 Latest Leaks – What’s New To Offer?

Currently, the Android world is preoccupied with finding new information related to two of the most important upcoming smartphones, Samsung's Galaxy S7, which will come with a force-touch enabled screen, and HTC's One X9, which will have a FHD display. A leaked image of the latter has appeared on the internet, along with the expected specs.

Galaxy S7

Most of the new features that Apple is adding to its devices are borrowed from Android and other mobile phone manufacturers, such as the split-screen mode, picture-in-picture video, Keyboard shortcuts, wireless charging etc. But in 2015, Apple has made a spectacular move, by using a force sensitive display on its iPhone 6S and 6S Plus devices, and Samsung wants to follow in the footsteps of its biggest rival. Therefore, the Galaxy S7 will come with its own version of Force Touch display and we'll see if this rumor will be confirmed at the CES event, when the flagship is expected to be unveiled.

All the other rumored specs are: a 5.1-inch Quad HD 2560 x 1440 pixels display (the S7 Plus will have a 6-inch screen); two variants of processors: octa-core Snapdragon 820 / Exynos 8890, which will be backed by 4GB of RAM (the two types of configurations will be available in certain regions, according to Samsung's preferences); 32/64/128 GB storage options, but it's not sure if they will support expansion; 16 / 20 MP BRITECELL rear camera with OIS and other features; a 8 / 12 MP front camera; the usual fingerprint scanner supporting Samsung Pay; wireless and quick charging; USB Type-C port for charging; Bottom Speaker and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, skinned by a refined TouchWiz.

HTC One X9

This will be a mid-range smartphone with a 5.5-inch 5.5-inch Full HD display, which is fighting against other similar devices such as Samsung's Galaxy A9, but it looks more like the HTC One A9, which Apple has said that it looks almost identical to its iPhones. A leaked image of this device has surfaced the internet and it seems that it will have a metal frame and a front camera positioned on the right side, not in the center, likewise on the Desire Eye. The rumors say that the rear camera will be 13MP and will support 4K video recording and inside, it will house an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor which will be backed by 2GB of RAM. Its internal memory will be 16GB and will support expansion, while the battery will have a capacity of 3000mAh.
