Last week, I was at the unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. It was a grand event night celebrating fashion and technology with some of the Asia's renowned celebrities appearing on the red carpet signaling the start of the Samsung Galaxy S6 World Tour 2015.
At the Gala Dinner evening, we were treated to a fashion show choreographed by Mr. Jeffrey Tay (fashion consultant and stylist to international celebrities), featuring pieces designed by Max Tan and Joe Chia. 
These intricately designed pieces were inspired by the stunning beauty and sophistication of the specially designed Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. Different structures and shapes were applied to reflect the bold design of the 2 smartphones. 
Not only being constructed like the Galaxy S6, the flowy silhouettes also corresponds with the curved sides of the Galaxy S6 edge, whilst integrating metallic colours in reminiscent of the multi-coloured hues of the phones. I love how the phones do a peek-a-boo on the male models' tops tucked safely in the transparent pouch, giving the outfits a sense of futuristic style.
The show featured 20 beautiful pieces and the climax was the appearance of Fann Wong, dressed in a sleek, white pantsuit, accented by metallic stud belt and golden Louboutins. She looked so sharp and with that pulled back ponytail, she was definitely showing off her after birth glow ~

Following the runway show, Max shared the creative process behind his stunning pieces of work. Taking cue from the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, he was inspired by the authentic premium materials, as well as the gorgeous and distinctive color palette of the smartphones.
Partnering fashion with technology to bring the spirit of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge to life at the Galaxy S6 World Tour is in fact an extension of the brand’s collaboration with Orchard Road Business Association to present the Samsung Fashion Steps Out @ Orchard 2015.
This Orchard Road’s anchor event aims to present six spectacular weeks of fashion fiesta for visitors as it heralds the Spring / Summer fashion season with runway shows, distinctive exhibitions, and exclusive shopping promotions. Back to the launch, we were introduced to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, with a special surprise unveiling right in front of us. Throughout the night, I got to use the phones, snapping pictures and trying out their new features.
The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge were designed to address the unique needs of fashion-forward consumers, featuring timeless design that uses superior glass crafting technology and stringent quality control.
The devices come in a range of colours with depth that create a jewel-like, norther lights effect. Together with the sleek metal frame and reflective glass finish, it is as though you are holding a smart gem in your hands!

My favorite has definitely got to be the camera function. With a simply double press of the home button, you can activate the camera immediately and combined with a fast shutter speed, you will never be missing a precious moment!
That night, we were also treated to a performance by Vietnam’s most popular artistes - Phuong Vy. She delivered an electrifying performance reflecting the vibrancy of the Galaxy S6 World Tour, bringing energy to the stage and ending the night on a high note.
