Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra First Impressions: Generating Galaxy Note and How!

Posted on the 02 March 2022 by Geetikamalik

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is one of the first set of mainstay smartphones launched in India in 2022. Samsung Top-Tier smartphone competes with the iPhone 13 Pro in terms of price. However, with features such as integrated pen and boxy design, Galaxy S22 Ultra aims to offer experience like the Samsung Galaxy Note. Android smartphone also packs top level specifications such as Quad-Camera 108MP and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC settings to offer a comprehensive experience. We are still working on our Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra review. However, since the Samsung Galaxy S22 pre-order in India has lived, we thought it would be a good idea to drop some teasers in the form of the article Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra First Impressions. After spending almost three days with the best Samsung smartphone in 2022, here is the first impression of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra First Impressions | Starting with a design, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will immediately remind you of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra or other Note series smartphones with boxy designs. While the side is curved, the upper end and bottom of the cellphone is flat. The bottom edge corners are slightly sharp according to our wishes, which only bother us while playing games while holding the phone horizontally. Therefore, it is recommended to use cases if you want a more comfortable experience. It will also help get a better grip on this part that is a little slippery. However, slapping the case means adding more weight above 228 grams of Ultra Galaxy S22.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra First Impressions | Using a casing, however, will release the nuances of the premium offered by the cellphone. This device has a glass body with a matte layer that helps keep fingerprints in the bay. We have some mixed feelings about burgundy color options. This special color throws the nuances of light brown when you see it from a certain angle in different lighting conditions. There is a classic black and white black and white option for those who want to hold on to the basics. That is saying, we will be happy to see Phantom’s green color that doesn’t walk to India, at least until now.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra First Impressions | In front, there is a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED display. So far, this is the best look on the smartphone that we have seen so far. Looking at the content on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is pure pleasure. The screen is sharp and offers bright colors. It also has all kinds of display features such as HDR10 + certification, adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, corning Gorilla Glass Victus +, etc. You will appreciate the quality while watching shows like we all die or game fame on Netflix which has many of their colorful elements. Add there a curved side that provides a deep watch experience. The screen is also very bright at 1750 nits, making it the brightest display on smartphones so far. That is said, the screen does not always reach the brightness of 1750 nits and for most cases of use, will be under 1000 nits. This is more than enough for the indoor and outdoor situation. It’s even brighter when you activate the “extra brightness” display setting.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra First Impressions | The 6.8 inch display is high and the sharp angle makes it clear that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is not ideal for one hand use. You will still be asked to use both your hands if you want to write a few pictures or record with Inbuilt pen. While we do it, a new pen is even faster to take input. Samsung uses AI and the LTPO 2.0 panel also helps take input in 2.8 milliseconds. It was almost three times faster than the previous pen on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, which has 9ms latency.
