Samsung has reportedly decided to leave the fan edition model from the Galaxy S22 series. The South Korean technology giant wants to increase the production of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which has been going well in terms of sales for companies in India and other markets.

Elec reported that the Galaxy Fan Edition series had not been stopped. The report states that the chip allocated for the Galaxy S22 FE is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Samsung’s first fan edition smartphone, Galaxy S20 Fe, is quite popular and reportedly sold for more than 10 million units. Galaxy S21 FE was beaten by chips, which delayed its launch. S21 FE was launched for only a month before the Galaxy S22 series earlier this year.

For the Galaxy S23 Fe, Samsung aims to send more than three million units. In comparison, the company aims to send 8.5 million units of Galaxy S23, 6.5 million S23 plus units and 13 million Ultra Galaxy S23 units next year.

Meanwhile, the company has confirmed the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 on August 10. Two phones that can be folded will be launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will display a 7.6 -inch AMOLED 120Hz folding screen and 6.2 -inch OLED HD+ 120Hz screen.

Z Flip 4 will have a 6.7 -inch 120Hz AMOLED screen and a 2.1 -inch cover screen. This will package a 3700 mAh battery and support 25W fast charging. Fold 4 will package a larger 4400 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, 15W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless filling.
