Samsung has launched its S series with S10, S10 Plus, and the most affordable one- S10e on the shelves. Samsung Galaxy S10e comes with the flagship series and still features at 2016 price point providing customers a cool option to get their hands-on. Samsung’s S10e is basically an answer to Apple’s iPhone XR and I kid you not- this one is worth every penny of yours! But, the real competition lies with the low-cost devices, its siblings, and One Plus 7 Pro which is only 1-2 Indian grands costlier. After all this, is it a great option to tinker over? Let’s check out in the Samsung Galaxy S10e review below:

Samsung Galaxy S10e review

Design and Display

In the package of Samsung Galaxy  S series, S10e is the most affordable one which doesn’t even touch fifty Indian grands price tag. Yes, this device is missing some hefty features but still, it is one heck of a solid performer. It comes in the smaller size which makes it very easy to hold in hands. It is a one-handed smartphone which is something everyone will like- just like iPhone SE.

It is a shrunken version of S10 and S10 Plus. This device misses Infinity Edge tapered display which is present in other two variants. But, it is the lightest one weighing around 150 grams. Samsung S10e misses fingerprint sensor in the screen but has a small capacitive sensor within the power button. It works fast and is very responsive- more responsive than in-display fingerprint sensor of S10 Plus. You can get great discount on electronics item using Paytm Mall Coupon Code.

The phone looks elegant with its rounded corners, an aluminum case which is sandwiched by the glass. On the back, you can see a thin camera bump.

Samsung Galaxy S10e comes in six color variant: Prism Black, Prism White, Prism Blue, Flamingo Pink. Sadly, Prism Green and Canary Yellow. on the left edge, there are volume rockers and much-criticized Bixby button is still there. Although, it is customizable now. At the bottom, you get a USB-C port, microphone port, speaker grille, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Coming to the display, the Samsung Galaxy S10e packs a 5.8-inch AMOLED display which is crisp and produces bright colors. The new Vivid Mode can be used although to tinker it a tad bit. The S10e has 2280 x 1080 (438 PPI) resolution setting. The display has no traditional notch but a punch-hole design. On both front and back, the device has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S10e has the new Snapdragon 855 chipset which is coupled with 6 gigs of RAM. It is nice to see the leading chip in this smartphone as you won’t feel any lags or hiccups even when you are using it for intensive tasking. On the Geekbench 4 scores, this device scored 10,523 points which are blistering. The device comes in 128GB storage form which is more than enough for a general audience. Although, the device can be upgraded to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of space. Also, you have the freedom to expand your device’s storage using microSD card. Playing high-end games is not a problem with this device. It can handle any high-end graphics game with ease and utter smoothness.

Samsung Galaxy S10e runs Android 9 Pie out of the box coupled with Samsung’s new One UI skin.

Samsung Galaxy S10e: Cameras and Battery Life

The Samsung Galaxy S10e has dual camera setup at the back panel including a dual-aperture f/1.5-2.4 12MP main camera with OIS and a 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor. Although, the bigger variants of S10 have triple camera array at the back with an extra 2x optical zoom lens. For selfies, there is a 10MP front-facing lens with simulated ‘ultra-wide’ mode. Yes, this phone doesn’t carry the best camera but it is worth it.

The pics come out clear, detailed, full of elegant aesthetics, and crisp. There is nothing that a casual user will complain about this camera. But, if you are some regular user and very passionate about your clicks, then you might find some nits and grits missing. Overall, it is a nice pack of lens integrated into this affordable machine.

Talking about the battery, Samsung Galaxy S10e holds 3,100mAh battery in its back pocket which enough gives you one day of usage- messaging, emails, listening to music, and gaming.  With 15W fast charging, you can charge your phone pretty fast. Final Verdict

Honestly, is really hard to say no to products like these. It is a complete package at affordable flagship pricing. It is smaller, fits in hand tight, has flagship chipset, looks elegant as heck, has all the latest tech integrated into it, and those two cameras perform exceptionally well. It is just the device for one-handed people.

Smartphone-like One plus 7 Pro can eat its market as it is big, better, and faster in every possible way. There is nothing going against this device but the competition. All in all, if you are looking to buy any device in S lineup of Samsung, this one wins the race- affordable, fast, and is a small package with everything flagship-level integrated into it.
