This super budget Android smartphone dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 was launched in February 2012 aimed at the low-end smartphone market. The device is relatively new model and has the pricing tag the cheapest at RM295 and highest at RN350 at Lelong.
Under the hood, the S5300 feature an 832 MHz ARM 11 processor and powered by Android v2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It has 3GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD up to 32GB. The 3.0-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display produces a resolution of 240×320 (256K colours, ~143 ppi pixel density) and is equipped with a 1,200mAh battery. At the rear it has a 2MP main camera and no front facing one.
The main camera offers resolution at 1600×1200 pixels and can shoot video at 15fps. It measures at 103.7 x 57.5 x 12 mm (4.08 x 2.26 x 0.47 in) and weighs at 97 g (3.42 oz). There is also a variant of this model given the name as the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Duos S5302 ( a dual-sim Galaxy Pocket).
