We have seen many leaks related to the Samsung Galaxy M51 in the past few weeks, which painted the picture of a phone with a massive battery. Now the Korean company has quietly launched the phone in Europe. So what should you expect?
The new phone actually packs a 7,000mAh battery, making it possibly the largest battery in a major manufacturer's phone in 2020. It is certainly much larger than any of the Samsung flagships released in 2020. We expect two to three days of use of this phone as a result, although we would have to put this to the test in a review. The phone can also be charged at 25W, although we don't have specific charging times.
A previous leak suggested a fairly powerful Snapdragon 730 processor, but the Samsung website simply states that the Galaxy M51 has an unnamed octa-core processor. However, you also get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

The new phone seems to be well equipped in the camera section too, and has a quad rear camera setup. This includes a 64-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter (123 degrees), a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth lens. Selfies are processed by a 32MP sensor in a centrally mounted hole punch cutout.
Otherwise, expect a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen (presumably FHD +), a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm port.
