Mr. Vineet Taneja, Country Head – Mobile and IT, Samsung India and Mr. Manu Sharma, Director – Mobile, Samsung India launching GALAXY GRAND 2 with Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi in Mumbai.
The screens of the smartphones might be getting bigger and bigger. But the buying power of most users is still limited by many constraints. And for these users who wanted a ‘big phone’ experience but could not afford expensive high-end devices, Samsung launched devices like Galaxy Grand and S Duos. And these devices earned quick success too. Galaxy Grand especially can very well claim of being one of the most successful phones by Samsung. And now, its successor is here too. Yes, Samsung has launched the GALAXY Grand 2 in Mumbai today.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Vineet Taneja, Country Head, Mobile and IT, Samsung India said, “At Samsung, we keep innovation and customer centricity at the core of developing products to meet the evolving needs of our customers. GALAXY Grand 2 with a vivid HD screen offers a premium viewing experience and enhances multitasking abilities with its Multi Window feature. Along with this, the introduction of Club Samsung will significantly elevate user experience in terms of features, content and services. Our new offerings are a testimony of our commitment to offer differentiated products to all our valued customers.”
The greatest reason behind Grand’s success was that it had hardware that was decent enough to deliver smooth and stable performance, without making the phone too expensive. And as I look at the specifications of Grand 2, I find it a worthy successor of GALAXY Grand. It has a big HD display, good processing power and RAM, storage and camera capabilities. Here are the key specifications:
