Samsung Galaxy A02 has been launched with 5000mah battery and dual rear camera setup in Thailand. It is the successor of Samsung Galaxy A01 which was launched last year. The Galaxy A02 runs on One UI 2 on top of Android 10 out of the box and comes in Denim Black, Denim Blue, Denim Gray, and Denim Red color options.

Samsung Galaxy A02 features a 6.5-inches Infinity-V display with HD+ (1600 × 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6739W chipset, PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU and coupled with up to 3GB of RAM + 64GB of storage. Plus, there is also a dedicated microSD card slot for the expansion of storage up to 1TB. In terms of camera, Samsung Galaxy A02 is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that houses a 13-Megapixel (primary) camera with f/1.9 aperture + 2-Megapixel (macro) sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 5-Megapixel selfie shooter.


The smartphone packs a 5000mah battery with standard 10W charging support. Coming to the connectivity options, the Galaxy A02 includes the support of a dual sim slot, 4G, wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, 3.5 mm jack and a USB 2.0 port. The sensors onboard have an accelerometer, Grip Sensor, and Virtual Proximity sensor. Lastly, The handset measures 164.0 x 75.9 x 9.1mm thickness and weighs 206.

Samsung Galaxy A02 is available at the starting of THB 2,999 (around Rs.7,211 ) in Thailand. However, there is no confirmation on its international availability yet.
