Previously, Bloomberg had reported that Apple dropped his plan to make 20 million additional iPhone units in 2022. While Apple’s news came at the Cupertino -based giant defeating all hopes with two previous iPhone models. Now, Samsung’s news emerged after South Korean manufacturers became the best -selling smartphone manufacturer. At Q1 2022, Samsung posted a record breaking quarter with 73.7 million smartphone delivery of smart phones.
The reason for Samsung to cut production is mostly caused by delay related to Covid-19 and supply chain constraints. In addition, the lack of ongoing components and the crisis in Ukraine is said to be the reason for slaughtering Samsung reported in the production of smart phones.
This came immediately after the South Korean giant said that they would come out of the feature mobile market at the end of 2022. According to a new report in ET, Samsung’s last feature batch will be produced by Dixon in December this year. After that, the company will not make another feature phone in India. It is said that Samsung will divert its focus to a higher price level.
