In the great north adventure awaits around every corner, and when it's time to relax a cold brew can hit the spot. Alaskan's have passion for brewing, and their microbrewery scene has grown to include over two-dozen breweries around the state.
From Fairbanks to Homer you'll find a savory selection of breweries, including the famous Alaskan Brewing Company, which is the largest in the state. As for the brews, you'll find a wide range of beers, from dark stouts and porters to very light ales. Fruit beers cater to those who prefer ciders, and there are plenty of varieties to please everyone. And, at some breweries you find tasty beer-friendly foods and other dining options.
Did You Know? Juneau’s Alaskan Brewing Company is also the state’s longest-running and largest brewery. The Alaskan Brewing Company is known for its Alaskan Amber that is based off of a Gold Rush-era recipe.

Located in the small mining community of Fox, Silver Gulch Brewery is known as America’s northernmost brewery/brewpub.
A short distance away is Healy, near the entrance to Denali National Park and Preserve, and it's here you'll find the 49th State Brewing Company, which is a great place for a tasting and dinner.
In the pioneer town of Talkeetna enjoy lunch at Denali Brewing Company and Twister Creek Restaurant.
Travel on to Palmer, and you'll find the Arkose Brewing Company next to the Alaska State Fairgrounds, and sample some of their new creations.
