Sambali beach farm is located in Botolan, Zambales; a not so short four to six-hour drive from Manila. Botolan may be farther from the usual famous towns of Zambales but it’s worth the extra one to two-hour drive for the seclusion it affords.
The beach farm is meant for larger groups seeking a calming refuge from the daily city commotion. The whole house is rented out to only one group at a time so you’re assured exclusivity of the place.
Sambali Beach Farm Accommodation
The maximum people allowed per booking is strictly limited to 25 persons. Unlike other accommodations who over exaggerate the number of people they can adequately handle, Sambali can very much comfortably accommodate their limit.
The Sambali beach farm house has three rooms. Two rooms with three bunk beds each which can sleep 6 – 9 people comfortably. And one room at the second floor that can accommodate three people.
There’s also a gazebo a few steps away from the house with its own lounge area and toilet & bath that can fit up to eight people comfortably.

The Food
It’s important to note that availing of their food package is mandatory and costs Php 1,500 per person (Php 1,000/child aged 5-10). This is on top of the house’s rental fee. Some may see it as a con, but we personally loved this requirement. For us, it meant being able to maximize our vacation time without the hassle of pre-planning meals, cooking our food, and cleaning up our mess.
Their meals were always a good mixture of greens, meat, fish, and sweets. Guests will be served a total of three meals and two snacks for an overnight stay. We were always kept full during the duration of our stay and all meals were more than enough for our group.
Water is freely provided, sodas and coffee will have to be brought by guests. Their staff volunteered to buy coffee for us but it was a good thing we brought our own from Manila. If you have specific requests, it would be best to inform them beforehand.
The Beach
The beach isn’t private but we felt like it was. Apart from the few locals passing by, we were pretty much the only group swimming at the beach, this is considering we were visiting on a weekend. The sand isn’t white, but it was soft and fine.
The Farm
Guests are free to stroll, look around, and take photos of the farm area. We looked around by ourselves with only Rinko the dog to tour us around but I’m sure you could ask any of the staff to accompany you if you want to learn more about their farm.
The Staff
Sambali beach farm’s staff were always attentive to our needs and we always felt pampered. During our swimming time, we asked the staff if we could have our afternoon snack at the shed near the beach. But they went over and beyond and brought our snacks directly to us at the beach.
Sambali Beach Farm is that rare gem that satisfies every quality I constantly look for in a private group destination. It’s perfect for laid back weekends with close friends or family.

How to go to Sambali Beach Farm
The trip is pretty straight forward. From Metro Manila, just take NLEX then SCTEX all the way to Subic Bay. Once you exit Subic Bay, head towards Zambales, passing the towns of Castillejos, San Narciso, San Felipe and Cabangan.
Sambali beach farm is also on Waze, which is what we relied upon for directions.
