Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) has joined the transgender drama Three Generations according to a report from the Hollywood Reporter. He joins a cast that includes Naomi Watts, Susan Sarandon, Elle Fanning, and Tate Donovan. The film follows Fanning’s Ray as she makes the transition from female to male and the impact that decision has on her family.
Trammell plays the younger brother of Tate Donovan’s character, the boyfriend of Ray’s mother. His younger brother is described as a free-spirited type of guy who works in construction.
No word on when filming will begin. Sam will also be returning to the small screen in the upcoming Amazon pilot entitled Cocked
