Salon Manga Barcelona 2011 is already underway and it’s proving a huge success down in L’Hospitalet. it’s being held at La Farga de L’Hospitalet and is one of the highlights of the “freakys” calendar and it must not be missed. Most people had already tasted Salon Manga 2010 and so were excited to come again!
XVII Manga Fair
From Friday to Monday, October 29th – November 1st in La Farga L’Hospitalet de Llobregat
The Manga Show XVII has three houses located in the center of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and there’s a free service called the Mangabus that’ll take you right there. With the entry ticket you can access all three spaces.
Salon Manga Barcelona 2011 – Spaces
La Farga (C / Barcelona, ??2) is the central space of the exhibition. Within this enclosure are the exhibitor’s stands with the following activities: macro space video games hall, exhibition of manga, Japanese traditional games workshops, mangateka, manga shop, learning Japanese workshop, workshop modeling, stand signatures of invited authors, press room and dining areas.
The Poliesportiu Centre (C / Riera de l’Escorxador, 15) Centre Court will be the main stage of the exhibition. Here you’ll find cosplay contests, karaoke, musical performances and demonstrations of Japanese culture.
The Centre Cultural Barradas (Rambla Just Oliveras, 56) has kindly devoted 240 seats to the projections of anime etc.
The center of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat will have as always special markings on the floor to guide Manga Show participants to the location of La farga, the Centre Cultural Barradas and Poliesportiu areas. they are all pretty close to one another by the way.
Salon Manga Timetable
Friday 29th October: 10:00 to 21:00.
Saturday 30th October: 10:00 to 21:00.
Sunday 31th October: 10:00 to 20:00.
Monday 1st November from 10:00 to 20:00.
Salon Manga Barcelona 2011 Tickets
The ticket is valid for one day. With the same ticket you can access the three spaces of the contest. Lockers are be located in La Farge.
General admission: 6 €
Will be available at the desk of Beam Hall. The entry is only valid for one day.
Advance ticket sales can be brought from October 1st through El Corte Ingles and Servicaixa. The entry is only valid for one day.
Discount Entry: 4 €
All card holders and Carnet Jove TR3SC can purchase tickets for only € 4. These are on sale only in the Manga Fair ticket office. The entry is only valid for one day.
Entry school groups: € 2
The school must submit a letter specifying the number of attendees. For sale only in the Manga Fair ticket office. The entry is only valid for one day.
Visitors to the Manga Hall -Attendees who come dressed as manga, anime and video game characters will have free access on Friday October 29th to all three campuses and the main hall. The characterization should be integrated, no partial disguises please!.
