The release of Sahasam has been postponed again. The film marking the return of director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and actor Gopichand to silver screen after a long gap will now reportedly release on July 12. Earlier it was expected to release on July 5 which again was a postponed date. Sahasam will now clash with Sushanth starrer Adda.
Financial issues are said to be the reason behind the postponement of the movie. It is being heard in film circles that this action adventure genre film has gone over-budget and the makers are trying very hard to sell the film for a handsome price but it hasn’t been able to find takers. Even the territories it has been sold is in the combination of the much bigger Pawan Kalyan starrer Attarintiki Daredi. One hopes that this financial hurdles are cleared soon so that the Telugu cinema audience can have a look at the film which promises to be a ‘hatke’ flick and yet an entertainer.
