Safe and Secure with the New Pabobo Night Lights + Fabulous “COMPETITION”

By Evette Garside @evette77

It's been a long time coming but I am finally sorting out Jordannas bedroom and making space for little sis Izebella to move from my room to their. I have put it off for numerous reasons, illness, time etc but now she is 2 she needs to be in her own room with Jordanna rather than mine. This is of course quite a big change and will feel strange for us both. I am slightly worried about weekends as Jordanna usually stays at her Fathers house and so Izebella will be alone. I am buying lots of little things so she will like being in the new room including a new bed and bedset.

Pabobo have also kindly sent over one of their new bedtime lights which have very recently launched. You may recognize these well known characters.

They are of course characters from the very popular Mr Men series which has been around in the form of books and all sorts of accessories for as long as I can remember. I actually remember reading the books in primary school.

Pabobo are famous for their sleep aids and fun lights and these two fun characters are one of the latest additions. Mr Perfect and Little Miss hug both appear in the Mister men and a Little Miss stories.

I was able to choose a light for Izebella. She would of been happy with either and I know their is a huge debate about gender specific toys and colours and all the pink vs blue etc, but pink happens to be her favorite color or so she tells me and I loved the little characteristics of the Little Miss Hug too so Little Miss Hug it was.

Our little Miss hug arrived within a few days. The box was really light which is a good thing. Nothing worse than a heavy light or toy on little feet. In the box – the light, instructions and a USB charger. The light needs no batteries, another bonus it means I do not have to constantly replace them. Instead it charges off a computer or via a wall charger.

The USB lead is a little small. I can see it may be easily lost but I have quite a few of these leads for other gadgets and they are very inexpensive to buy. The instructions recommend a full charge before using to give it the best performance.

It's a cute little thing, almost reminds me of some sort of toadstool toy I once had. It has a little bow and flower in its hair and even little feet too.

The light switches on by way of a push button on the underside. One charge gives up to 11 hours of light tho I will without a doubt be switching it off once Izebella is asleep.

The clever technology insid the light is very much designed with safety in mind. This light does not get hot or even warm. It stays cool even when placed under the covers.

The best results are seen in a dark room at night time. It gives a lovely pink illuminating glow. Nothing too bright but just enough to feel safe under the civets and enough to see all the teddies that she has on her bed smiling back at her (or maybe not as I think that would scare even me!)

Izebella is used to sleeping in the dark on her own in my room. She dislikes big lights being on and often kicks up a fuss when I turn on the torch on my phone to find something when I come to bed. She likes her new Little Miss Hug light because it's not overly bright and because she can hug it and control it herself. She is able to turn it off and on as she pleases and I am hoping this helps her to settle into her new bed and new room.

Both of the new Mister Men/Little Miss lights are suitable from birth and come with an RRP of £30 each. They can be purchased in numerous stores, supermarkets and Amazon and information on where to buy Pabobo products can be found on the Pabobo Website.
