I love Chico's for their smart, stylish, liveable fashion. Clothes that work with and not against your shape, have smart technology that accomplishes things like keeping you cool, wrinkle-free, and free of stains; and clothes that go from the office to dinner to weekend and do incredibly well on travel. This season, Chico's has a gorgeous collection called Safari Chic and I asked a few of my stylish friends here in Washington DC to join me in styling our favorite Safari Chic pieces from Chico's! Scroll down to see all of their looks as well!

I've had a lot of luck with Chico's Travelers Collection in the past (check out my Chico's Travelers Capsule Wardrobe). It's the kind of fabric that can dress up and down, is stretchy without clinging, takes up no space in a suitcase, is wrinkle-resistant, and machine washable. This dress does not disappoint. Without the belt, it is more of a shift (I chose a size 2 which in Chico's sizing is a 12/14) but not in a boxy way, more like an, "I skim the bust and hips and go right past that tummy" sort of way. If I didn't wear the belt, I'd likely have my tailor shorten it right to the knee. However, I really loved the effect of the dress with my black heeled knee-high boots and Chico's Reversible Obi Belt.
Shop My Picks from Chico's Jewelry Collection:
To finish off the look, I chose some of Chico's iconic jewelry. They make some of the best costume jewelry; I have pieces a decade old that still look like new. Unfortunately, the pieces I am wearing are sold out; a good example to get their jewelry while you can for it sells out quickly! I also have these hoops and wear them all the time; this bracelet has a similar finish to the one I am wearing. Above I made a carousel of my favorite jewelry currently available at Chico's!
My friends also picked some fabulous pieces from the Chico's Safari Chic collection. From left to right this is Tanvi, Angelica, myself, and Sylvia. Sylvia thought Wild Days, the rooftop bar and music venue at Eaton House on K Street in Washington DC would be the perfect place for the photoshoot. I thank her for coordinating this shoot before the venue was open. The plants and all the wood and wicker really brought out the vibe of the fashion. Thank you to Alex Moonrise who was the photographer; it was my first time working with him and he was so nice and had a great eye.
