This Sukkos holiday has been sad and upsetting.
It is normally such a beautiful holiday. People are busy with the holiday - lulav and Esrog, family, Simchas Beis Hashoeva, tiyulim, whatever.
This holiday under lockdown has seen non-stop fighting and protests and violence and anger and arguing over Corona rules and behaviors.
While I personally am enjoying the relaxing holiday reading in my sukka or relaxing on my couch, playing some games, with no real pressure to go or be anywhere, all around is such a distressing holiday.
Maybe some people find joy in all the fighting and are fulfilling their celebration of Sukkos with joy and happiness, but it doesn't feel that way in general.
