This Navion departs the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show.  The Navion four-seat aircraft was originally designed and built by North American Aviation in the 1940s. It was later built by Ryan Aeronautical Company and then Tubular Steel Corporation (TUSCO). Ryan manufactured 222 of the Navion B, also known as the Super Navion 260. The Navion was marketed for an expected postwar boom in civilian aviation that never occurred. This aircraft was designed along the general lines of, and built by the same company which produced the P-51 Mustang. Nikon D70 w/80-200mm.
