Rutina Wesley has had to cancel her Phoenix Comic Con 2013 appearance The actress who plays newly turned baby vampire Tara Thornton was slated to attend the convention May 25 and 26th with co-star Kristin Bauer van Straten who plays Pamela Sywnford de Beaufort on True Blood. The cancellation was posted on Phoenix Comic Con’s website yesterday afternoon under her name:
“We regretfully announce that Rutina Wesley will be unable to attend Phoenix Comicon.
All solo photos and True Blood cast photo ops will be refunded.
Thank you for your understanding.”
On a positive note, Kristin will have a Q&A panel from 12-1PM on Sunday May 26th. Tickets for the convention can still be purchased here.
