True Blood‘s Rutina Wesley is on the Queen Latifah Show today!
True Blood has been one of summer’s guiltiest pleasures for the past six years with characters ranging from deadly vampires to sexy werewolves, and even a few fairies living and loving in the small fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana.
“Some people will live, some people will die. Some couples will stay together, some will break up,” reveals Rutina on the final season.”Some fans will be happy, others won’t. They’re taking everything from the past six seasons and wrapping it up into a nice little package.”
Rutina also let us in on how the cast is celebrating the show’s final season: “We just had a mid-season party. We all sang karaoke and let loose. Everyone’s tired, but we’re in the home stretch so it was nice to have some fun. Karaoke is my favorite thing.”
So, what’s Rutina’s go-to Karaoke song? “I always sing, ‘Sitting on the Dock of the Bay’” says Rutina. Queen Latifah thought it would be fun to challenge Rutina to sing some karaoke for the fans, and Rutina gladly accepted. Watch as she brings down the house singing a classic.
