Plot: A high school coach, whose teenage daughter was murdered, takes matters into his own hands by going after the men who kidnapped his student for their human trafficking operation.

Story: Ruthless starts when high school coach Harry (Mulroney) learns his daughter has been murdered. Even though the man who murdered her is sentenced to life in prison, it doesn’t fix the broken heart he lives with. As Henry tries to put his life back together, he shows a harsh nature to his students including Catia (Diaz).
However, when Catia deals with problems at home, he offers her support her family never offers. Harry steps in to deal with the abusive stepfather Tom (Mendoza). However, his involvement leads to Catia being kidnapped in a human trafficking operation.
Verdict on Ruthless
Ruthless is an action thriller following a high school coach who learns one of his students is getting abused. He steps in to try and stop it, but the evil stepfather has other plans, and now he must go in search of the missing student.
This movie takes us into a world of a reluctant, unlikely hero stepping up to do the right thing. It takes him on a journey into a criminal underworld he wasn’t prepared for, but knows the fight is worth it. The action is the same technique to take out the enemies, which shows the discipline he needs to complete the job. In the end, this is everything it sets out to be, nothing too big and easy to watch. The only strange thing, is seeing Dermot Mulroney is a more heroic role, after years of seeing him as the villain of the piece.
