True Blood’s Rutger Hauer will head a jury at the Venice Film Festival for the Pardi di domani, which recognizes short- and medium-length films from emerging young filmmakers, while Syrian director Ossama Mohammed will head the jury for the Cineasti del Presente competition for first and second feature films.
Gianfranco Rosi, whose acclaimed Sacro GRA became the first documentary to ever win the Venice Film Festival’s Golden Lion award and the first Italian film to win it in 15 years, will head the main jury at the Locarno Film Festival, officials announced Monday.
