In the heart of spring on the idyllic island of Naxos, a rustic wedding unfolds with an olive theme, set amidst the timeless beauty of a breathtaking olive grove. A color palette of green and white in the wildflowers they chose, perfectly adorned the setting. The bride, a vision of style, radiated in her chic and shimmering mermaid wedding dress that truly stood out in the natural scenery. Wooden accents and the subtle scent of olive branches created a lovely ambiance at this amazing wedding planned and designed by Maria Voudia!

«We met in a bar when I was studying at university in Liverpool, UK. We had been in a relationship for 9 years when Lewis proposed at the lighthouse in Chania, Crete. It was very special!»
«The style was rustic, natural and understated. We wanted everything to look natural, with wildflowers and olive branches. We loved this aesthetic because it was typically Greek – laid-back and simplistically beautiful. It also represents us as a couple , we are very laid-back people!»
The whole day was just perfect: personal, intimate, and fun! If we had to pick a moment, our first dance and then the party celebration afterward was amazing! So much fun, non-stop dancing, and celebrating with our loved ones.

«My wedding dress was: classic, romantic, and lacy with lots of intricate petals. I love flowers!»
My advice? Plan your wedding – you are the guests of honor, not the hosts! Please yourselves, and if you do want input, then ask one or two trusted people who will give you good advice. Otherwise, plan whatever day you want and do not feel the pressure to perform for others.
