Today’s Tauranga wedding is beyond beautiful and I couldn’t help but get lost in the romance of every detail. Elegance meets rustic, Bhavna + Jeremy’s wedding is truly a sensory experience with rich colours and textures that jump off the screen!, and I’m chuffed to see P+L Superstars The French Country House and talented Tauranga floral stylist Shaye from On My Hand in fine form (as always!) throughout this beautiful love story.
Captured by international destination wedding photographers Joel + Justyna (who just love NZ!), and who after a last-minute referral jumped on a plane from Canada to capture their day only 24 hours later! Boom.

Our love story began…
Jeremy had been around for a few years before we started dating, he used to work with my twin sister and are really good friends. I met Jeremy a few times but we never really thought anything would happen as we were both in long term relationships at the time. As time went on Jeremy and I decided to end our previous relationships but we did not know that either one of us had done so. Long story short Jeremy and I went to watch a movie which was meant to be with other friends but they cancelled last minute. Little did I know that this would turn out to be our first date and a start of something special.
I said yes…
Jeremy recreated our first date by taking me out for a movie and dinner. After dinner he took us for a drive to my favorite place in Auckland and popped the question.
Our wedding style was…
Rustic glam but classic at the same time. Our venue was stunning and had lots of character so we wanted our style to suit the venue.
We saved by…
Doing all the decorations and styling ourselves. I am a calligrapher and Jeremy is very handy on the tools so I made all the wooden signs , place cards and favours, Jeremy made all the easels for the stands.
We splurged on…
Flowers and Photographers. We wanted to make sure we had photos that we would cherish forever and our lovely photographers Joel and Justyna definitely have made that happen. I have been a fan of Shaye’s work from on my hand before we got engaged, so we had to get her to do our flowers and we were not disappointed.
