Congratulations are in order for Oklahoma City Thunder guard, Russell Westbrook and his wife, Nina. Westbrook announced on Wednesday that they are expecting their first child together.
You probably remember Westbrook’s wife Nina dealt with some backlash a year ago for questioning the way women leave the house with “no clothes on,” proclaiming that we need to get back to the good ole days.
“What happened to the good old days when leaving the house with little to no clothes on was a tad bit shameful,” read the meme she posted.
“Ladies… I cannot express how important the notion of respect is to me and for us as women,” Westbrook continued in her caption. “We HAVE to love and respect ourselves FIRST. In doing so, we will then gain the respect of others.
