Running Down the Wedding Aisle

Running Down the Wedding Aisle
Hopefully, you will not have the need to run down the wedding aisle even though your wedding day is so exciting.  But this blog is not so much the walk/run it is about the runner. The one that lays on the floor of your ceremony.  I never really understood what the purpose of having a white piece of cloth or paper down the church aisle until someone explained it to me.  It is merely to protect the bride's dress from snags on the floor or any lingering dirt.

I wasn't really surprised when I told Danielle that we needed to order one in which she flatly replied "I don't need one."  She was under the same impression that it only served to light up the aisle of which she was certain on how to go.  After I gave the same explanation that was served to me, she relented.

So I Googled wedding runners and was shocked on how  stylish they had become.  You are certainly able to order a plain white one but they now offer printing on them.  Special quotes, your names, or bible verses can add a little character to your special day.

This was perfect for Danielle and John who are getting married in the little white country church where they both grew up.  It is the sweetest little church from a page of an history book. The country feel is so present in it simple nature.  A perfect setting for a little bit of something extra.  That is where the runner and flowers will play a role.
Here are some great examples of the runners I found.

Running Down the Wedding Aisle  Most of the runners I found were in the range of $35- $55.  They came in all different colors and designs.  Just keep in mind like all things you will need to have printed for the wedding give the order enough time to be completed and delivered for your wedding day. Kisses, Deborah Stilettoswww.Facebook.com/MyDaughterisGettingMarried
