Plot: Miller lies about daughter’s gold-spinning ability. Imp helps her impress King. She promises imp her future child for continued aid. When payment comes due, imp strikes deal with devil.

Story: Rumpelstiltskin starts when local Miller lies about his daughter Evalina’s (Baxter-Eve) ability to make gold. It backfires when the King (Malone) sees through their scheme and demands she prove herself within a day or they both get executed.
Evalina is shocked to discover a mysterious man living in her prison cell who offers to complete the gold task, in exchange for favours. As the King becomes more demanding, the favours become more intense leaving her in a desperate position to fight for survive.
Verdict on Rumpelstiltskin
Recap
The movie follows a Miller’s daughter who is forced to marry the King after proving she can make gold. However, her deal with a creature causes problems she must figure out before things come back to haunt her.
Best Parts
The world of fantasy and creatures is fun to watch unfold. It shows the fantasy tales having a much darker nature and the titular character tormenting its victims. The performances are strong throughout the movie too.
Worst Parts
The movie tends to have a lot of empty time, where it shows the kingdom not doing much despite having threats. It can make the world feel like not much is happening.
Final Thoughts –Rumpelstiltskin is a creepy twisted dark fairy-tale.
