As the judging panel continues to fluctuate, one name can be taken off the maybe list. E! News claims that Jennifer Lopez is no longer being considered for the judging panel. People who might be still in the running are Keith Urban, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, and Clay Aiken, as well as outside rumored possibilities from Harry Connick Jr and Bruno Mars. Kelly Clarkson’s people have continuously stated that she will not be accepting a judges seat, whereas other sources are claiming that Jennifer Hudson has signed a deal. Keith Urban has also announced that he’s returning, though sources continue to say he hasn’t officially signed a contract. Auditions are this month, and those people will need to see a judge soon, so decisions will have to be made very quickly. With Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick recently being replaced, the new showrunner will have to make decisions very quickly.
