Premiere show of Balupu has begun finally few hours back here is our exclusive report on the film. Balupu carries freshness in it that has been missing in Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja films of recent past despite it being a typical mass entertainer adhering to the formula. The comedy especially works in the movie between the hero and Brahmanandam as expected and as has been reported many times earlier. Ravi Teja is in fine form here after some gap. Its not that he has been completely out of sorts earlier but he his comedy timings works well here than some of his recent attempts.

Songs could have been picturized well (first half mainly) but the fights compensate for it. Fast paced narration is the films biggest strength. First half of Balupu is mostly devoted to comedy (involving Brahmanandam and Shruti Haasan) with the actual story and twist kicking in during intermission point. Anjali enters the film in the second half and things take serious turn for small time. Later the comedy kicks in as usual (less degree compared to first) and the ending is neatly wrapped up with good comedy touch.

Balupu is another regular commercial entertainer with Ravi Teja in fine form largely due to the fresh feeling generated by the comedy. The success of the film or lack of it depends completely on the audience’s embracement of the entertainer ‘with’ Ravi Teja at its center in his current dry spell. Films in similar vein have been big success involving the actor in the past can he do it again in the present is to be seen.
