Eligibility Criteria for RBB Group 2020
The eligibility criteria given here are about the Age limit, Education qualification, and nationality, which the candidates need to meet, or else they will not be selected for the recruitment process.
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan refugee came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Srilanka, Burma, East African Countries of Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Vietnam and Euthophia with the intention of settling in India.
However, the candidates belonging to the category b, c, d, and e above must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit
The candidates applying for the RRB Group D should be between the age limit of 18 – 33 years. Relaxation of upper age limit is given to the candidates, those who belong only to the reserved categories.
Educational Qualification
- The candidates applying for RRB Group D recruitment must be class 10 pass by the institution recognized by NCVT or SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate must be given by NCVT.
- For Group D recruitment ITI has been made non-mandatory.

Following are some rules that the candidate has to follow while going to the examination center
- Candidates must carry their RRB Group D Admit Card 2020, along with their photo ID proof to the examination center.
- Impersonation on the examination day is strictly not allowed, if any of the candidates are found doing so, strict action will be taken against him/her.
- Candidates should reach the examination center on time as mention on the Admit Card, or else the gates will be closed.
- Candidates reaching late to the center will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
