Actress Ronke Odusanya's baby daddy Aranmolate Saheed Olarenwaju aka Jago has confirmed the paternity of their child.
He tendered a public apology for requesting that a DNA test be carried out to ascertain the paternity of their daughter.
Jago and Ronke, who welcomed their daughter Oluwafifehunmi in August 2019, have been in court for many reasons, including the welfare of their daughter.
On February 10, 2021, Jago requested that a paternity test be carried out on their child on the grounds of infidelity suspicion before advancing with proceedings.
The judge, Ms Tanimola, ordered the paternity test to be carried out at a specific hospital in Lagos and the result sent directly to the court.
However, on December 15, 2021, the judge declared him wanted for refusal to show up for the DNA test and failure to appear in court.
The matter was adjourned till February 9, 2022.
A few days to the next court sitting, Jago took to his Instagram page to apologise for requesting a DNA test in court.
He accepted two-year-old Oluwafifehunmi as his daughter, vowing to take care of her.
He said: "Hello, my name is Aranmolate Saheed Olarenwaju. I'm doing this video to clear the air about the DNA I requested from the court.
"I'm really sorry about that. I want you guys to know that Oluwafifehunmi Aranmolate is my daughter and I love her so much with all my heart.
"I'm really sorry about requesting for the DNA from the court. I love my daughter so much and I promise to take care of her.
"She's my love, she's my everything. I am really sorry about this. Thanks, bye!"
