The bride shared with us: “We had a summer wedding in Santorini. I wanted to go quite neutral with the colors, so I chose blush pink and cream roses for the flowers. We had some rose gold decorations on the tables. I had a picture in my head of how I wanted it to all look and when I walked in it was even better than I had imagined, it was perfect! We are childhood sweethearts, we met when we were 15 years old. Luke proposed to me in Miami, on the front of a boat that he had hired out for the day for just the 2 of us as a surprise. It was so romantic, and I will never forget it, we had the best day!”
“I would probably say my favorite moment of the wedding was walking down the aisle to see Luke shedding a tear, I didn’t think he would actually cry. And also after our first dance when we had sparklers and danced outside with all of our friends and family during the sunset, I had the biggest smile on my face all day and night!”
“My wedding dress was actually the first dress I tried on, I saw a few dresses on Instagram that I liked and they were all by the same designer, Enzoani. I had so many screen shots of one in particular in my phone, it was called ‘McKinley‘ I searched the nearest stockist and fell in love with it as soon as I tried it on. But to be 100% sure I went to loads of other shops and tried more dresses on but ended up back in the first shop a few weeks later buying that first dress I tried on. I felt amazing on the day, it was my dream dress.”
“Santorini is the most beautiful island I have ever visited and it will always carry a special place in my heart. Le Ciel was the most stunning wedding venue and I feel very lucky that I got to marry my the man of my dreams there. A huge thank you to all our friends, family and vendors that made our day as special as it was.”
Bride’s Advice: “Try not to stress over the little things, I feel very lucky that we got to celebrate our special day in 2020 like we had planned. There were lots of ups and downs along the way, but it ended up being the most perfect day. I was so relaxed on the day, everything I had worried and stressed about all disappeared when I woke up that morning. I had a permanent smile on my face the whole day, the happiest I have ever felt, I didn’t want the day to end.”
