The madly in love couple chose to get married at a picturesque chapel surrounded by a lush garden, celebrating its love with its loved ones. Bright colors dominated in the decoration, while the reception area was adorned with beautiful flower arrangements and modern gold decorative items in geometrical shape. The bride was so chic and elegant in her flowy wedding dress by Complice-Stalo Theodorou with unique lace embroideries and a deep neckline. The bride shared with us: “We met in 2015 in Kos though our work. We are both teachers and that year we were working at the same school. The next year we move to Heraklion, Crete, where we still live. He proposed in Chania in April 2018 , next to the lighthouse”.
“My bridal bouquet followed the general style of our wedding with bright colours. It was a cascading bouquet with peonies, hydrangeas, big roses, lisianthus, wildflowers and ivy. For our wedding decoration, we chose many bright colors for the flowers and decorative items. The invitations and favors were made with craft paper and they had lace and twine details”.
“My wedding dress is a creation by designer Complice-Stalo Theodorou. I tried on many dresses, but when I tried on my dress, I knew it was the one!”
“Choose the wedding professionals you will work with carefully, because you will spend a lot of time with them. We were very lucky because we were planning our wedding from distance and everyone made us feel sure that everything would happen as we had imagined and planned. And that’s what happened!”
Bride’s advice: “My advice to a bride-to-be is to plan her wedding with her partner. We chose everything together and we had a great time during the planning period!”
