Mata and Achilleas’ utterly romantic wedding decorated in a green and white color palette, has put a smile on our faces! The couple dreamed for a timeless day filled with an abundance of white flowers and a rustic flair. The bride chose to wear a gorgeous strapless wedding gown by Demetrios that made her look incredibly beautiful for her big day. Vicky Bekiaridou was there to capture their special day and we are simply bursting to share their story with you all!

“Our meeting was completely karmic, in a location that would be completely impossible to ever meet again. Different countries (staying in my city only for a year), different friends, completely different quests. However, we happened to meet in a bar (not his type), I was entering the place and he was leaving, we stared each other and fell in love from that moment {how strange to find love among strangers just at a glance}. The proposal overpassed my expectations, it was beyond what I was dreamed of. It combined everything that would make a proposal, every woman’s dream. Surprise, atmosphere, the right time, the right place and perfect conditions. He set up a few days trip in Thessaloniki (one of the loveliest cities), during New Year’ Eve days, where everywhere and everything was perfectly decorated, and the spirit of Christmas make the whole atmosphere magical. While we would pass through a central square (imagine how beautifully it was decorated because of the days) on our way to dinner at a restaurant, he arranged with a street musician to play our song. As we approached to listen to the song and then the musician dedicated us the ”’Marry me” song. At that moment he knelt down and proposed to me while the people in the square were celebrating and cheering. A magical moment, which was even filmed by a friendly couple who were hidden the whole time”, the bride shares with us.
“The bridal bouquet consisted of olives, white roses and white lisianthus. In general, the theme of the wedding in terms of decoration was the olive. The wedding party took place on the beach, therefore, I chose an airy and light decoration, with pillows in the sand and an arch decorated with olive branches and silk fabrics. The tables were decorated with candles and amphoras with flowers (olives, white roses and white lisianthus), scattered olive leaves, and sea stones with an inscription of the names of each guest. The entrance was decorated with two sea timbers with candles and decorated wish table”.

“My wedding dress was strapless princess sparkly wedding dress with a high front slit! Consisting of two parts, a bodysuit and a skirt, so that at the beach party I can stay with the short skirt”.
Bride’s advice: “The simpler the more beautiful, so that everything can be done without stress and always between people you love”.
