Olive trees and a stunning decoration by La fête provide a dreamy backdrop for this wonderful destination wedding in Paros! “We wanted the whole wedding to take place near the olive trees, to face the sea and the monastery of St Antonios. The ceremony was celebrated outside with a very intimate and familiar setting… straw balls for seats and baskets of olive branches, lemons for the aisle. The scenery was beautifully prepared by Anais and her incredible team from La Fete.” the bride shared with us full of enthusiasm! The decoration created the perfect touch of romanticism, and we are loving all the statement-making décor details from this lovely Greek island wedding!

The bride shared with us: “We had a summer wedding in Paros island. We met at university in London around 2009. He proposed during a hike on the cliffs of Etretat, in Normandy, France. The wedding took place at Louis’ parents place. A greek house located in the agricultural area of Marmara, Paros. The dining area was located under the olive trees. For the lighting we had light bulbs displayed all across the field which gave it a magical, intimate and familiar feel. The tables were long and had a spanish fabric which is very dear to me. As for the floral decoration, we had olive trees, lemons displayed at the center of each table. All of it was beautiful!”
“I wore my wedding dress twice. Once for the civil wedding in France and the second time for the religious wedding in Paros. It reminded me of the old movies with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.”
“The ceremony and the reception were my favorite moments: amazing bar, amazing cocktails, amazing music, amazing lighting and amazing people!” Bride’s Advice: “Trust your wedding planner! Everything is under control.”
