"Chrysostomos and I were classmates from kindergarten, even though we didn't really hang out, we got closer at the age of 15 and started dating at 17! Since then we have been together, we studied in different cities and then when Chrysostomos finished his studies he moved to Athens where I was studying and we decided to move-in together. Chrysostomos and I love to travel a lot. We have been traveling together since 2016. In the summer of 2022, he planned a road trip that included all my favorite destinations from our previous trips (Tuscany, Provence, etc.). Of course I had no idea about all of this. So we started a long journey crossing all of southern Europe and ended up in our beloved Barcelona where on the evening of our last day, he proposed to me in front of my favorite attraction, Casa Batlo... ", the bride shared with us.

"My favorite season is spring. I wanted the wedding to take place during that time, because the weather is ideal, there is a lot of natural light and the atmosphere is flooded with the scents of flowers. I thought that during spring when everything is in bloom, the setting of our wedding would be even more rich and fragrant giving additional aromas and composing a more romantic atmosphere. The wedding decoration was inspired from the Renaissance, I wanted it to be romantic, rich in flowers and with details that transport you to another era. I wanted my bridal bouquet to have french lavenders and peonies."

"While I was planning my wedding, I needed to do a lot of research because I was trying to implement the ideas I had in my mind, I often visited the greek wedding site Love4Weddings to get inspiration but also to study the different styles and how you can combine new ideas that would help me organize a unique wedding."

"Our favorite moment is by far the one when we met at church. I imagined that this moment should be the best moment of our long relationship, so I wanted it to be unique and to remain forever engraved in our minds. I thought that for this moment we should have music, an idea that Chrysostomos liked very much. We decided that when I would walk to the church, our favorite song would play loudly the greek song, "To Kima of Κων/νου Β", giving a completely magical feeling to that moment! It really was the best moment of our wedding. "

"One of my favorite details was the rice stand which I made myself with the help of my mother. I had mixed the rice with dried roses from our garden and dried french lavender flowers. From an old book I made paper cones that we filled with rice and placed them in wicker baskets. The result was incredible because even though I had made them days before, when the guests were throwing the rice the place smelled of lavender and roses. Also in the reception area, my favorite detail was the wish table, which I personally curated. When the decoration was finished the result surprised me, it was even better than I imagined... "

"The Markou Wine Museum, the venue we chose for our wedding, offered the ideal setting, so I could organize the wedding of my dreams. Precisely because the space itself offers a very beautiful setting reminiscent of a castle and surrounded by lush gardens, I wanted the decoration to be to the point, not excessive, but however not indifferent either."

The bride's advice to other brides-to-be: "I have a lot of advice to give to new brides, so I'll list the most important ones! First of all, to enjoy every moment, to listen to their instincts and to implement what they have in mind without listening to all the other opinions of those around them. Every bride is different, with different preferences, opinions, taste, style because she is unique... ".

"The wedding should reflect the couple's taste (it is important to include the taste and desires of our partners so that the wedding expresses them also, in order for them to feel part of it, because in the end they will also have a better time than they expected), they need to express themselves and feel comfortable and live it to the fullest. If they decide to plan their wedding by themselves, as I did, they must prepare themselves and be patient because it involves a lot of research, many hours of preparation but the result will justify them. Calmness is the most important ingredient to face any difficulty. The calmer the brides-to-be are, the better they will deal with situations, they will be more easily inspired and creative, but most importantly, they will have more memories of their wedding in the end, which is what matters most. Finally, remember that no matter how perfectly everything is organized, something will always be forgotten or not calculated.Fortunately, I worked with excellent professionals and some small things that were forgotten weren't important, only I knew about them. In conclusion, I would like to add that during all stages of the wedding preparations, take some time to enjoy every moment. It is a very beautiful process and if you share all the moments with your partner, you will be able to really live your wedding from the beginning to end."

"The cooperation with the Markou Wine Museum was perfect, they are professionals who know how to organize even the smallest detail. I found them after a lot of great research, I looked for all the reception venues, in Athens, that give the possibility of celebrating the ceremony and reception in the same place, as we wanted to make it easier for the wedding guests... We wanted a beautiful space, well-kept, that you would enjoy and a venue that suit both of us. Only the Markou Wine Museum had all of this, they made us a very good offer and enabled us to organize our wedding the way we wanted."

"The Markou Wine Museum was the best choice I made, all the guests were surprised and very pleased, in fact they were calling days after the wedding to tell us how much of a good time they had at our wedding. The photographer Fotis Stepas and videographer Nikos Mpikas we chose were incredible, we've known them for years and personally but we also really like their work, so we didn't search at all, we went directly to them. We were sure that they would do an excellent job, they are excellent professionals, with a good sense of humor, a good mood and calmness that was present on our wedding day. This resulted in everything moving smoothly and calmly and a great end result came out thanks to them..."
