From the bride: “We met as summer interns. He proposed to me on Christmas Eve in NYC after a day exploring the city, making homemade ornaments for our first Christmas tree together, and after he made me a Thanksgiving dinner for me because I missed Thanksgiving dinner with my family for the first time that year because I was working in New York. We are both from CA. He wrote a list of all our “firsts” throughout the years and had me open my Christmas present which was the ring.”

“Johnny and I love to travel the world, the outdoors, hiking, the mountains, and he’s always had Greece on places he wanted to visit which is how we ended up in Meteora, Greece. Besides the photography and destination, Phaedra planned all the details of the event and selected all the vendors. She sent me a few wedding dresses to pick from and gave my husband some pictures of the attire he should bring from home.”

“My only inspiration for the wedding was to be in the outdoors and to feel like it was just part of an adventure. We chose to vacation in Greece and then decided to exchange vows while we were there. We wanted to pick a place that felt unique to the country.”
