“We met on a vacation in Djerba, Tunisia, in 2010. We spent the whole week together. While the trip came to an end, this was only the start of a longer journey for the two of us. Miras surprised me with a trip to New York as a Christmas present in 2015 where we were going to spend the New Year Eve. He took me to a romantic dinner and we spent the evening on Times Square waiting for The Ball to drop. After the countdown, he gave me a kiss and went down on his knee”.Having found the perfect location for their wedding on a trip before they were even engaged, today’s couple could not have exchanged their vows anywhere else than in Poros, at an amazing location above the sea! To create an even more romantic setting, the ceremony and reception areas were decorated with beautiful red roses and candles! Surrounded by close friends and family, Hanna and Miras had an amazing wedding day that you can live yourselves through the gorgeous photos Wedtime Stories shared with us!

“The Sirene Blue Resort Hotel was discovered by us in summer 2014 while we were on a boat trip with some friends in the Saronic Gulf, Greece. The hotel is located on a cliff above the ocean, surrounded by a green oasis with a unique view of the deep blue water. It is very private and perfect for a destination wedding. When I saw the hotel, I couldn’t help but thinking “this is where I want to get married”. Miras had not even proposed yet, but I knew it was the place for us. It was a very emotional moment for me, as this was the first time I realized I met the man who I am going to marry sometime in the future”.

“I wore Emma by Maggie Sottero. It is a mermaid style wedding dress in beautiful beaded lace motives dancing across tulle with a sweetheart neckline and corset back. It is the most beautiful and comfortable dress I have ever worn as it was perfectly fitted to my body”.

“We chose to have an outdoor wedding, both for the ceremony, dinner and party, at a typical Greek Taverna with wooden floor and natural stone walls. We decorated with red roses, white fabrics and live candles to get an romantic atmosphere”.

Bride’s advice: “Start planning early and enjoy the planning, but remember to spend time with your fiancé outside of the wedding-bubble as well. Let everything go on the wedding day and just enjoy the day. Choose one day of the week for discussions with your partner, otherwise it can become to stressful to combine the wedding planning with your everyday jobs etc.”
