The couple is in a friendship from more than 6 years. This relationship is looking similar to the love story of Suresh Raina and seems like a love cum arranged marriage. Rohit knows Ritika from 6 years, where she is a sport event manager, and manages his sports and commercial engagements. She is a renowned sports manager overseeing the schedules of a long list of cricketers and Rohit is one of them. Rohit proposed Ritika in a very romantic and surprising style. She drove her in midnight to the Borivali Sports Club and proposed her for marriage by giving a beautiful solitaire ring surprisingly.

It is reported that Ritika never misses any game played by Mumbai and is the biggest fan of Sharma. Rohit told his fans about the engagement through the micro blogging website Twitter, where he wrote, “From best friends to soul mates, couldn’t get any better”. He also shared a picture with her love Ritika, wearing beautiful engagement ring. They both look fabulous together and we wish them the best for their future.
