Some time ago, the Wynkoop Brewing Company of Colorado made an April Fools spoof video about the release of a new beer brewed with bull testicles. Much to their surprise people not only believed them, but were also very keen to sample their wares. The team then decided to that they may as well give it try and for the past few year have been making Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout, “the balliest beers ever”. The beer is made with Colorado grown base malts, roasted barley, seven specialty malts and Styrian Goldings hops. Each 8 barrel batch is packed with 25 pounds of hand sliced bull testicles (that’s the equivalent of 3 balls per barrel).
